DESCRIPTION:
The sacred teachings of God find their reflection in the Qur'an. Serving as a guiding compass for humanity, this ancient manuscript unveils the beliefs and practices of Islam. It narrates the chronicles of past prophets and their societies, urging individuals to anchor their faith in Allah, the singular and true God.
Over generations, millions of devout Muslims have committed the entire Qur'an to memory, a tradition that persists in the present day. While not everyone undertakes the feat of memorizing the complete text, the majority of Muslims regularly engage with and recite portions of it. The unmatched frequency of reading, recitation, and listening attributed to the Qur'an sets it apart from any other religious or secular literature. The original Arabic rendition's exceptional clarity, rhythm, and conciseness often serve as motivation for those who recite it to delve deeper. Conversely, English-speaking readers have often encountered limited access to its meanings, frequently relying on archaic translations that may not resonate with contemporary sensibilities.
Adil Salahi, a distinguished author and scholar, has undertaken the task of articulating the content of the Qur'anic verses and chapters in a manner that is lucid and direct in this novel translation. The objective is to make it accessible and succinct for readers in the twenty-first century while preserving its profound core and depth of expression.
