The main aim of this study is to find the reasons behind the selection 0 Specific lexical items and specific morphological constructions in the ‘ . . . Glorious Qur‘an whereas other lexical items and morphological constructions can be used. ln order to achieve the aforementioned aims, it is hypothesized that: (l) there is no full synonyms in Arabic, (2) the morphological constructions in Arabic present additional meaning to the semantic meaning of the lexical items, (3) every lexical item in the Glorious Qur‘an is selected for its semantic and morphological appropriateness to the context and (4) The translator of the Glorious Qur’an needs religious and linguist. interpretations to understand fully the meaning of the Qur’anic expressions and (5) to have equivalent translations of lexical items in the Glorious Qur’an, the translators usually have to translate them communicative and dynamically with using translation shifts. Also, this study aims at checking some English translations of the Glorious Qur’an to find whether the translators succeeded in their task or not. According to the findings, appropriate translation methods are suggested to be used that make the translations carry meanings to the SL texts. Thirty seven samples and renderings by six different translators the validity of the above mentioned aim.
